Do you know that in other countries, bringing something home from a trip is a custom? In other countries on the other hand, the custom is to bring something when visiting a home. What people usually bring are pastries, wholesale sweets or even house decorations. But whichever custom is done, they are still both so generous and sweet of a gesture.
When a person came from a trip, he usually brings goods from the place he visited. These could be the local delicacy, souvenirs, and other local products. From these items he can opt to bring wholesale sweets and other fascinating items and goods. Bringing home one of these tells that the person wants to share what he has experienced from his trip.
In the other tradition, the offering of wholesale sweets, foods and house decors of the visitor is viewed as very respectful and generous. In fact, this custom dates back to ancient times when tribes would offer goods as a sign that they came in peace and want friendship. So this custom is primitive but it is good to realize it has survived. It’s important to know that even before, people have interacted nicely with each other.

Like in Belgium, packs of sweets can contain their original chocolates and other old-fashioned European candies. There are licorice flavors and others. For the Middle East, their sweets can be composed of the popular preserved and sweetened dates and many more.
In warmer countries, wholesale sweets are mostly flavored in refreshing and sweet tropical fruits such as mango, papaya, lychee, pineapple, and so much more flavors. People can also find unique and exotic flavors from fruits of different countries in Asia such as durian and rambutan. In winter laden countries, candies are mostly flavored in peppermint, apples, wintergreen, berries of all sorts and a lot more.
So these traditions of different people from around the world are very honorable and deserve to be recognized. More than the giving of wholesale sweets, baskets of goods, delicious casseroles and beautiful decors, these customs represent generosity and humanity. They should never be forgotten and in fact should be passed on to the future generation who will continue the legacy of humans’ way of interaction towards one another.
