When your relationship ends, your ex may give off signs of getting back together. They may start to flirt with you and wan to be around you more, but do not take things any further, until you have read this advice.
When they start flirting with you again, you may start thinking of getting back with your ex. But even if you have missed them, do not rush back to them just yet. For your protection, it is better to take your time and play a little hard to get, as this is what will get your ex more interested.
If you easily give into getting back together, then your ex may lose interest and actually push you away. But if you make them work for your attention, then it will be easier for you at getting back your ex when the time is right.
Usually when a relationship, especially a long-term one, ends, it is normal for you to miss one another, and imagine getting back together. This is because you have a vast amount of shared memories together, and you wish you could go back to how things used to be.
But there are also other emotions that surface after the breakup, such as regret. So if you are thinking of getting back with an ex, then there is good chance your ex has the same thought in mind.
However, occasionally the signs that your ex gives off of getting back together, are completely false. They could simply be playing mind games, and using the love you still have for them as a way to get your affection, without any thought of renewing the relationship. If there interest seems a little false, then they are probably using you while they wait for a new lover to enter the scene.
They may even take it one step further by making you fall for them again, and then push you away, as way of punishing you for something you apparently did wrong. This is why you should never rush getting back with your ex, no matter how interested they are in you, until you are certain they are for real.
So what should you do when your ex show renewed interest in you? You should take your time, play a little hard to get and flirt with them a little. Never leave yourself exposed, and this will protect you from getting hurt if your ex lies about getting back together.
