The thing called emotional infidelity is very common nowadays since this generation has become so liberated. This is a common way of cheating your partner. The polygamous nature of the male specie is already invaded by the female kind. Both genders are already susceptible and highly vulnerable to this.
This often occurs when misunderstandings often arise and the other party is looking for someone else to cover the imperfections of a partner. This is the season of a dwindling love affair that has once been a steamy romantic relationship. Love flies out of the window when lack of understanding for certain misgivings is being magnified. People are imperfect beings and these become so patent when love is on the verge of falling out.
The kind of love that is unconditional and sets no boundaries is known as pure and true love. True love is really hard to find if the commitment between two people of different leanings is founded and based only on simple physical attraction. This can be equated to lust and not love in the true meaning of the word. It is always important for a relationship to have love as a basic foundation.
The problem of emotional infidelity surfaces when the physical traits that an individual has have already faded, such as love based on the physical appearance of a person. People are subjected to a biological time clock and physical appearances do change with the passing of time. If this is the gauge for that so-called love, then everything goes into shambles when these things fade away.
When these conditions are present then love is always on the air for eternity. Nothing on this planet is permanent though. But love can always flourish when there is mutual respect, understanding and above all there is no place for emotional infidelity.
