Well Valentine’s Day is here and once again, it’s time for the lovebirds to show their true love for each other and find the best Valentine gifts. This year is a great one because not only are there cool little gifts that are available, but there are some great events going on during this time of year.
I bought my husband two tickets to the Knicks game last year. Boy was he shocked and so delighted that I decided we should do something he enjoys. I felt like “If he enjoys the NBA, it is not going to hurt me that much to make his day once in awhile, right?” Besides, ever since that Knicks game, he does so many special things for me because of how much I showed my appreciation for him. I must start taking him to more games every holiday!
Sometimes men get turned off because they feel pressure if they don’t give the right gift as if the Valentines Day holiday is just for women. I disagree. I feel that both men and women should feel loved on Valentine’s Day. You’re supposed to share the love and affection you both have for each other.
Now back to the best Valentine Gifts of 2010. Besides NBA games and cheap hockey games, what are some good Valentine Day gifts for her? Besides the obvious being a girl’s best friend which is diamonds (which my husband also surprised me with after that wonderful NBA game I took him to), going to Broadway plays, the theatre, and other events are great for the ladies.
Stop moaning guys, it’s not that bad. Besides, think of the joy and delight your woman is going to feel when you surprise her with two tickets to her favorite show! Believe me, it will pay off. You may even get an early birthday gift.

Jersey Boys tickets. These tickets are going fast, but there are some special Valentine tickets available. I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this show.
NBA games. You can easily find some good, cheap tickets to NBA games. I was able to get us courtside tickets sitting next to Spike Lee for a steal!
Hockey games. Hockey games are some of the most exciting and cheapest events I have attended and I surprisingly had so much fun. I never really like hockey, but seeing the game in person is a whole different story. And the best part about it is that hockey game tickets are very cheap.
Jewelry. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend of course, so you cannot go wrong with giving a girl jewelry. It would be even better if it’s Tiffany’s jewelry, but we’re not picky.
