Most people would agree that getting out there and dating after a breakup is rarely fun. Don’t you think it’s time to change that attitude for the better? Isn’t it up to you to make it fun?

How much fun you have on a date is really up to you. Think of it as your personal super power and try to think of different ways you can create the most awesome dates with. Not a lot of people realize it, but you can sometimes have fun just by planning.
It might be strange, but some have an awesome time thinking of ways to have an awesome time. And the great thing about it is that when you have fun planning it, you know you’re going to have fun doing it. And when you know you’re going to have fun, your date can tell and it can rub off on them. So, how do you make your date fun?
A very important thing to remember when planning fun dates is that it has to be mutual. She has to have a great time as much as you. Meaning, you have to make an effort of finding out things about her before you plan your date.
You don’t want to set your first date cliff diving if your date’s terrified of heights. You don’t want to plan a date around trying out steak houses if she’s a vegetarian. Find out what makes her tick – her like, dislikes, basic allergies. Then match the things from your own list of interests, see if there are things you have in common, and plan a unique date based on what you both are into.
If the date’s as fun as it’s going to be if you plan it right, you won’t need to try as much. The situation will help you make her feel comfortable. She won’t be counting the minutes till she can politely ask to be taken home. In fact, she might even feel reluctant to be taken home.
And another awesome thing about a great fun date is that there’s no need for you to spend so much. You have a lot of things to choose from in order to make things fun without using up your life savings. Your second date can even be planned in a way that doesn’t need for you to spend a cent, but still have the time of your life (but, of course, you still need to invest a little on the first date in order for there to be a second).
