If you really do not know when you are going to get married you need to figure out how to narrow it down. Start by thinking about how long you will need to plan your wedding or what season you want to be married in and narrow your choices from there. Do not forget to think about any days you want to avoid like birthdays and holidays.
Once you announced your engagement and set the date you need to determine how much money you have for the rest of the wedding. I understand that this is by no means a fun task, but it really needs to be done. You need to know how money you have to spend and who is paying for what.

Decide what kind of wedding you want, whether it is a traditional church wedding, a homey garden wedding, a beach wedding or something entirely other than those.
