My Mens Wedding Band,Losing it and Discovery on the River

If you grew up in the central valley and had a river near your town, most likely you found your down time floating on the cool waters enjoying the summer sun with family or friends. It’s a traditional getaway on tubes that takes 2-3 hours to complete.

I will never forget this outing as we had 12 rafters in our group at the time. Sometimes we met up, by chance, with more fellow river tubers. We like to meet up at the various beach areas along the way to take a break, relax, and swim.

My wife and I enjoyed this type of recreation years before we married and this was our first trip down the river as married tubers. It generally felt the same except for my new titanium wedding ring.

This ring was picked out by my wife and it was perfectly chosen to reflect my adventurous spirit. A titanium wedding ring with three off-center grooves skate across a dazzling flat profile band. The frosting finish gives it the look of the artic.

We came upon our favorite spot at a halfway point in the river. We played, swam and just floated near the beach before continuing on.So, as luck would have it my ring must have slipped off my finger due to the cold water shrinking my extremities. Well, needless to say, it was a very sad ending to our day. You must write it off if you lose a wedding band in the river. I was so upset with myself for not removing it beforehand. My wife was not too happy either.

I did not feel like it but was talked into going again two weeks later tubing down the river with friends. Our group, as expected, stopped at the beach cove we normally spend time in to relax and wait for a second group to meet up with us. I was casually relaxing by the shore and feeling the sandy bottom as I felt a smooth rock and picked it out of the water only to discover my lost wedding ring. What are the odds! My wife was ecstatic. I considered myself the luckiest man alive that day.

Incredible odds to get it back the way I did. I lose it, I find it, 2 weeks later in the river! I have told that story countless times on any occasion the subject of small world impossibilities comes up. It was truly an incredible titanium ring recovery.
