Some people tell us that they are quite happy on their own and do not want the company of others to influence their lives.
Although this is not my preferred choice, but I can certainly understand their point of view. At least when you are with yourself you do not constantly end up arguing about what you are going to do, or where you are going to go next, and you can not manage to break up a relationship if you are on your own. But on the other hand you do not have much of a relationship anyhow.
Relationships are what the world is built upon; it is how we choose to react with other people around us that ultimately define how our lives are going to turn out.
You can choose socialize with the people that you meet in your everyday life, or you can choose not to socialize with them. At the end of the day it is you that makes that decision.
There are a lot of people in this world. It is up to you as to whether you want to socialize with any of them or not. Whether it be people you meet whilst out and about, or people that you work with, the final choice is yours alone.
You can stay forever cooped up in your own little solitary world, or you can choose to let other people in and share their knowledge and understanding of things.
This is the same principal when it comes to a relationship of marriage. You can choose to listen to your spouse’s views and their opinion on things compared to your own, which would make both of your lives a more relaxed and happier occasion. Or you could just choose to do the things that you want, and when you want, and run the risk of the marriage falling apart.
It is a well known fact that you always get more out of a relationship than you actually give to one, so isn’t it time you thought seriously about your relationship with others?
