Go to the films with buddies, take a hike in the park or go to a club. Without regard for what you do, you may find that it’ll really help the days pass. 4. Become active Another tip that can help the days pass while you are waiting to contact the ex is to become active. Join a gym, take a class of some sort, join a book club, or start a hobby. These can all help you meet new people, make friends and ultimately stay active.
5. Patience Last of the steps to get your ex back is have patience. The last thing you want is to look desperate and contact your ex a hundred times a day. Instead, wait a week or two before even contacting them. From there, talk a couple of times casually and set up a time for the two of you to have lunch or something light.
