You’re not alone when you’re dumped. Believe me I’ve been dumped before, too. It’s not easy to be dumped, but you can learn from the experiences of other people. Here are the things I learned from men who were dumped by their girlfriends.
1. The dance is about the two of you. Do not blame your partner about the break up. The two of you are both responsible for your relationship. It takes two to tango, and it takes two to fix or ruin a relationship.
2. Give your girl a little space to breathe. Men can be possessive at times with their girlfriends. Why are you checking out where she is going and what she is doing? Don’t you trust her? Trust is an essential ingredient to any relationship. You can’t have a great relationship without trusting your partner. Learn to trust in your new relationship.
3. What does not kill you will only make you stronger. This is one lesson you can take away when you are dumped. Remember that when you have a relationship again, you will be twice wiser and twice stronger. Time heals all pain no matter how hurt you were.
4. Accept the truth, and the truth shall heal you. The truth is, you are not meant to be. Acceptance is the ultimate key to healing a broken heart during a harsh break up. If you are not meant to be, you are not meant to be. Like I said before, it is better that the relationship ended sooner rather than later.
5. Good things don’t happen unless you make them happen. Finally, the last lesson I want to share with you is that you can’t control what happened, but you can control to how you react to what happened. If you want good things to happen in the future, you have to make them happen.
To make things happen means getting back on the saddle. You can date again and meet new women at the process. You will eventually find a new relationship. Remember your past experiences so you can get better at your present relationship.
