October 31st is the day to live out your fantasies.
Embrace the fantasy and quirkiness that is Halloween! Do not just stop with choosing a costume. Go the whole nine yards, and come up with a new persona in your mind and become a new character that other people will envy.
This Halloween metamorphosis should take to new uncharted territories. Take this opportunity to break your comfort zone. For this one night you are who you dress up to be. Leave yourself at home. Go deep. Take time to develop your characters mannerisms, accents, and traits, that will leave other people gasping in awe.
Tonight you are not you! This is your chance to do things you would never do and to wear things you would never wear!
The clothes make the man or the woman. Find clothes, accessories, jewelry, shoes, any items that your character would wear on an everyday basis to accentuate your character.
Costume, check. Persona, Check. Its now time to use your newly developed persona to make this a memorable night.
Don’t just dress as Zorro, become Zorro; embody his confidence and his competence. Know that you (Zorro) can say and do anything.
Practice and internalize what that feels like, so you can recall those feelings again when you go out and meet a sexy new friend.
Think of Halloween as the beginning to rediscovery. Keep the feelings and mannerisms you developed while in costume, and use them in your everyday life.
Then, throughout the holiday season of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s celebrations, when you are in the field and you have a tinge of approach anxiety or can’t imagine going for the kiss close, think to yourself “Well, what would my Halloween personality have done!” and do it.
Below are some costume ideas you can use for you next Halloween adventure.
+ A debonair James Bond. Bond is the ultimate male. There have been many portrayals of 007, but there will only be one Bond: Sean Connery. Sean Connery is suave, dangerous, and charisma all rolled into a single package. One of the best films to study for mannerisms is the Bond film,”From Russia with Love.”
+ A mysterious and troubled Vampire. Forget Twilight, watch the vampire movie, “Interview with the Vampire.” Take special notice of Tom Cruise’s character. Notice how he seemingly hypnotizes every women with a look. Although most people will not admit it, they secretly love the idea of being hypnotized by a vampire.
+ 80’s glam or hair metal rock star. Rock stars always attract tons of women!
+ A man in Uniform. People go crazy for a man in uniform. Clean cut and a man who knows how to protect his loved ones never gets old. Two movies to reference are: An Officer and a Gentleman and Top Gun.
+ A giant teddy bear. The perfect costume to maximize your hugabilty rating.
