Whilst we all dream about meeting the perfect guy one day, being swept head over heels, enjoying a fairytale romance, followed by marriage, adorable children and a long life, this can very often turn out to be a pipe dream. Hello, this is the real world! When you are in the dating environment you are obviously always looking for the best. You have your standards and you have, at least in your mind’s eye, that picture of the ideal guy.
How can you tell if a guy is not interested in you? You may well have come across somebody who you are particularly keen on and you have been out on a date of two and like what you see. It is usual to become a little confused at this stage as it is often difficult to really know what is happening.
As girls, we all know that guys are very difficult to read. We think that they almost never show their true feelings and are often slow to verbally express their emotions. However, we are looking for potential long-term relationships here and we need to know what’s going on. If this guy is not interested in you, you want to move on.
How can you tell if your hunky guy is not interested? Firstly, you could be bold and make the next move. If you haven’t heard from him for a day or two, pick up the phone and call. If you happen to get through to his voicemail, leave a nice message. If you do not hear back from him within a reasonable period of time, you know what to do.
A lot of guys hate confrontation and will often shy away from calling you to tell you in person that you are not a good fit. So, if days have gone by without you hearing from your dream guy, guess what — this guy is not interested. There are plenty more fish in the sea, as the saying goes, so don’t dwell on it.
You will be able to clearly tell if your dream guy is not interested if he seems to hang around a lot with other women. Sure, they could be just friends, but you should be able to get that subtle message and read between any lines to get your answer.
You may notice that you only hear from your love interest when he is looking for “action”, around the time when the bars throw out or otherwise very late at night. This guy is not interested in anything other than sex and you should not degrade yourself with such immaturity.
The world of relationships and dating in general is quite complex and you need to come up with your own set of rules. Take the initiative if you think that the guy is not interested in you and start to look for somebody else.
