Good news, by asking that question, it shows the breakup wasn’t so bad that you think it’s hopeless. let’s hope she’s thinking the same thing. Before anything else, now would be the time to apologize for any undue hurt you may have caused in the heat of the breakup. If you are truly sorry being willing to show it is a great first step.
Of course, there’s no guarantees, but the odds will shift in your favor if you are doing things the right way. Try to show her how apologetic you are and show her that you miss her. Here’s a vital tip…pay attention to what she does! If your gifts or apologies do nothing but make her angry, don’t just keep on doing the same things, shift tactics until you find something better.
She may think you are taking the easy way out if you depend to heavily on candy and flowers. Put yourself in her place, what would SHE like? Perhaps you could try getting a blank card and writing your own prose or poetry. there’s no need for it to rhyme – in fact, it’s probably more effective if it doesn’t. The idea is to express your feelings, not show how great of a writer you are. Try picking a bunch of wild flowers and making your own bouquet!
One of the biggest complaints by women is that men aren’t thoughtful. How about during your relationship, were you guilty of taking her for granted? Try being a little more thoughtful, it’s one step closer to getting her back. Every little gesture adds up, making it easier for her to decide to come back to you. It won’t be overnight,but it will build some positive momentum.
At first, she may doubt your sincerity – particularly if it’s a complete turn around from the way you were before. Be patient, keep plugging away and don’t try to force the issue or get frustrated and angry. The quicker you adopt the frame of mind that you are doing these things for HER and not just to get her back, the better they will work.
Should you date other women?
If you’ve been apart for quite a while and you’ve been working at being thoughtful, a casual date with someone else may spark a little possessiveness in her and make her want you back – but don’t go too far or it will backfire.
If she appears to have moved on, you can still send a card wishing her a great week. Be sure to keep it casual, with no expectations. Your efforts at being more thoughtful could be very impressive to her.
