One of the best ways to meet women is in a night club. The problem, is many people find themselves having trouble starting conversations over the loud, repetitive sounds, that heighten the club’s atmosphere.
The following exercise is a great way to overcome the rough and loud challenges that a club presents.
Level 1: Get Comfortable in the Noise
The key is to make yourself comfortable around loud playing music. Find a stereo you can use with out bothering your neighbors or friends. Put in some music that you can play at a very loud level. Music that you find in a club, is more beneficial for this exercise because it prepares you better for what to expect in the club. Play the music really loud for 5 minutes. At the same time that music is playing, stand 5 to 10 ft away and try talking to yourself the duration of a single song.
Get comfortable with thinking and speaking over loud music. It doesn’t matter at this point if the other person understands what you are saying. What matters is that you can keep on track and tell a story all the way through, over the music.
Once you have become more comfortable around loud music, it will be time to move on to step 2.
Level 2: Storytelling and Listening
Find a person you can team up with for this exercise. Write down, find, or memorize a story that your partner has never heard before. Tell your partner to stand a few feet away from you, while you tell them the story. Remember to turn on the music, to simulate the club atmosphere.
Once both of you have taken your turn telling your stories over the loud music, its time to turn the music off and tell each other what the other persons story was about.
One of the more important things to take a mental note on during the exercise is, “How did the person who was listening react to your story?” Take this moment to discuss with one another, ways on how you could improve you story. Did you enough hand gestures? Was your partner able to hear you? Did you change facial expressions to match the story? After you have told each other how to make your stories better, its time to redo the exercise again.
Once you and your partner have practice a couple of times, its time to try it out. Your goal is to master talking over loud music and be able to communicate an interesting story to a group of people I a loud night club.
The second lesson is how to listen to and interpret a story in a loud environment. This is especially important when a girl is telling you a story. The more you can hear, the better your response could be.
One of the worst things you can do in a noisy club is to “peck” when you can’t hear what someone is saying. When you can’t hear someone, most guys will lean in closer to the speaker.
Some men even think this is a positive form of kino because they can use the noise as an excuse to get close to the lady. However, by repeatedly leaning in, you resemble a ravenous chicken, pecking at feed in the chicken coop. It looks bad and it conveys lower value.
Its up to you to master these exercises. Take you time and remember that practice makes perfect. With enough practice anything is possible.
