Ok, she left you and now you’re asking yourself “how can I get my girlfriend back?” But getting her back may not be the best thing for you. You need to look at both sides of the spectrum and ask yourself is it worth going through the pain of possibly breaking up again.
Little doubt exists that if you pursue it that you’re opening up not only you but her as well for what can be potentially a world of hurt.
Start out by making two lists. The first list is the reasons why you need to try to make it work and also find out “how can I get my girlfriend back.” The second list is going to be the reasons why it won’t work.
The purpose of your first list is to find out why you want and need her. You will understand why your life is truly better with her by your side. Make sure to take note of the small things as they are important as well as the big things you see everyday.
With the against it list (list #2), search really deep and hard to seek reasons that say you two should not be with one another. Does she put you on edge with certain things she say or do. Does she bring out good or bad qualities in you? You need to be very attentive to your answers, be real with yourself and pay attention to what you are putting on your lists.
Once you have cast out all doubt and believe that you should be together again, the next thing to do is to let her know and win her over. Until she is won over and believes what you believe, it won’t matter if you feel that you two were meant to be.
To get a chance to fix things, you need face to face contact with her, then from there you can go further. You have an edge if you have been able to maintain a friendship despite the breakup, because its a very good chance she will meet with you and hear what you have to say. But if she does not want to meet or talk with you, then there is nothing you can do, regardless of how serious you are about making it work.
The difficult thing is that if she’s not feeling it or it ain’t in her heart, there’s no more you can do. Sure you can try to hold on, but that does no good. It’s hard, but you have to realize when it’s over and that means it’s time for you to move on. Once you’ve gave it your all, let go, because you don’t punish yourself by keep taking the rejection she has given you.
Apparently, she’s ready for new things, and you should be ready for new things as well. So the reality of “how can I get my girlfriend back” is a hard pill to swallow if it doesn’t work out the way you want. But don’t let that dictate you relationships of the future. Dust yourself off and keep on moving, something better is waiting for you.
