We are told that the there is somebody for everyone out in that real world and there are plenty of fish in the sea and so on. If you think about this logically for a moment then you could easily be scared off by the tremendous difficulties awaiting you as you go out into the dating environment. How many dating nightmares have we had as we try and find the right guy? Even so, with a correct approach we can try and ensure success the next time.
Seeking out someone new and going through the process of exploration is in all reality a lot of fun, but can get quite wearing if you are unlucky enough to come up against one of those dating nightmares. It’s not possible to know in advance, unless these guys came with some kind of government health warning. Unfortunately there are some guys who are very egocentric out there and only want to talk about themselves, what they are, where they have been and where they are going. This kind of one-sided relationship is not for you and you should pay close attention to whether he is actually listening to you when you are talking to him or whether he is just working out what he is going to say to you next as he bores you to death.
Guys on the rebound are some of the worst type of dating nightmares you can come across. They are invariably trying to find somebody to make up for their bad feelings, depression or loneliness. How do you know that he is not going to parade you in front of his ex, just for spite?
If you come across someone who is obsessive compulsive or is overly organizational, run the other way as quickly as you can. Someone who frets too much about technicalities, the meaning of this or that and is unable to go with the flow, will try and rule your life as well and unless you’re particularly into this kind of fetish, such dating nightmares should be left alone.
We are taught from an early age not to be too judgmental and this is something that you always want to bear in mind. Do concentrate on picking up some basics about him when you first meet, his stability, his financial position and whether he sees you as a potentially equal dating partner. If he insisted you pay for dinner the first time that you meet, this might be a warning sign and is generally not regarded as very chivalrous. Freeloaders can represent one of the worst dating nightmares.
If the guy that you can see across the table has nothing much to say and is already lost for words, you have found somebody with a distinct lack of personality. By all means try and find somebody with well-rounded interests or the boredom is going to kill the situation very quickly.
Life might seem like a roller coaster ride and your relationships even more so, but it should not be as difficult as that. Just be philosophical, avoid the dating nightmares and understand that false stats are just part of the game. You will get there in the end!
