To put it plainly, swagger is how someone presents themself to society as a whole, they possess the ability to handle a situation with a sense of ease and grace. They have the ability to keep a healthy level of self-confidence, but without coming off as arrogant. They just have a certain effortlessness to their style, the way they walk, talk and dress. A person with true swagger is not easily shaken by anyone or anything.
Even a person whose nature goes contrary to the definition of swagger can apply the elements of a person who embodies swagger to their own persona. It is not necessary to become the very definition of swagger, mind you, but adding a little something extra to your personality can only help you in the long run. When you do become the definition of swagger itself, you will realize that you probably had a lot inside of you all along, but just didn’t know how to fully develop it.

They are never panicked. They are able to take control of a situation when it is needed. They are able to follow the lead of someone capable of leading if it is needed as well. They don’t let the emotions of others escalate their emotions. They remain steady and do not cry over spilled milk.
Nothing is more contrary swagger than a disrespectful person. People with swagger treat others with respect. They do not berate those working for or serving them, such as employees, waiters/waitresses, bartenders, etc. Those people who are the definition of swagger also tip according to custom and avoid looking like cheap-skates.
It’s funny, but people just yearn to be around those with true swagger, because they are fun, charismatic and curiously different. People with swagger have an element of mystery too, which is intriguing. Their cool persona is complemented because they are clean, stylish and a good communicators.
While people with swagger do realize that an intelligent debate with another person makes for interesting conversation and stimulates thought, they refrain from yelling or arguing with ignorant folks. This is of primary importance to maintaining any swagger that they may possess. Simply put, they realize that even if they are 100% correct, arguing with a fool makes them look like a fool as well. Others who happen to be looking on will not be able to decipher who is who. A fool is a person who is too loud, vulgar, substitutes intellect and communication skills with profanity and volume. From these types of people, the person of swagger will take their leave promptly and with no second thoughts.
