If you want to flirt better with potential romantic partners, give these 6 tips a shot.
1. Wear a provocative necklace. Find something meaningful to you that leads to a story of travel and adventure, or of deeply held values. Then, when women ask about it, you’ll have a story all primed and ready.
2. Put your shoulders back, and open your stance. Roll your palms so they face your hips, not backwards. Palms facing backwards shows low self-esteem. It can also help to practice slowing your walk down, and pretending you’re wading through waste deep water. This causes your upper body to lead your lower a bit, and that’s amore sexy way to walk.
3. Have some pictures ready to show. You can use these to remind yourself of stories that you can tell. And you can let the other person take the lead by asking you about pictures that interest them. If you’ve got an iPhone or a blackberry, or something like that, you can store pictures on your device and have them ready to show as you’re getting to know a girl.
4. Be warmly dominant. One great way to do this is to hire them. If they show some value by telling you about one of their skills, tell them you should hire them to do that thing for you. This sets the frame that you’re the big man, and their skills are there to help you.
5. Look for any situation to flirt. If you have to bend down to tie your shoe, near someone interesting, say “don’t get too excited, I’m not proposing.” This is playful. Resist the temptation to be overly self-deprecating, though. It would be funny to say “Don’t worry, I’m not proposing”, but it wouldn’t generate as much attraction.
6. Try mirroring the other person subtly. If they play with their hair, play with yours. If they tap their foot, tap yours. If they reach for their drink, reach for yours. Don’t be too obvious, though. We like those who are like us.
